Our Story
Hi there, we are Jessey and Jordan Swails, Indiana natives who have been fortunate enough to enjoy over a decade of marriage and have been blessed with two kids; kids who were just made to be outdoor explorers, and who are practically free range these days.
Our family never once dreamed to one day be working together to make a property abundant with Christmas trees our home. Do we have any experience in growing Christmas trees you ask? Nope. Absolutely not. But our God moves in fantastic ways, and has provided more than we could have ever asked or imagined. And we know He'll continue leading us in the proper stewardship of this beautiful piece of His creation. Since we are dreamers, expect this to be an adventure that's regularly budding and growing in new and different ways.
Through this property, our ultimate goal is to encourage others to slow down, soak in time with their people, and be overwhelmed by the glory that is nature. Simply put: we'd love everyone to visit and experience what it means to truly take root.
Our Offerings
"The Wildes" came to be because of the silly nature of our children, the intriguing call of the outdoor wilderness, and the bookish vibes the name suggests. We hope to offer a variety of seasonal events that are equal parts unpredictable and inspiring, which spark conversation and encourage more time exploring.
Our goal is to be always partnering with local creatives who are outstanding in each of their respective crafts. If you have a "Wilde" idea or creation, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We'd love to see how we can come alongside one another to offer a one-of-a-kind experience.
